Meeting Kiah

I have been a bit quiet since we returned home from Canberra earlier this month but have geared myself back into blogging action again!
Almost two years ago, we did a two month housesit for a lovely couple in north west Tasmania. We had a most adorable little dog called Candy to care for and a lovely house just a short walk to a beach. The owners were at that stage selling the house and planning to move back to New South Wales. It took a little while for all this to happen and last year we heard the sad news that Candy had passed away before their move.
Fast forward to yesterday and we travelled to Lismore in New South Wales to catch up with them and meet their new dog, Kiah. They have built a new beautiful home and had invited us to stay with them. It was so lovely to catch up on all the news and we just picked up where we left off last time we met!
They have built a large deck at the back of the house where we sat this morning drinking tea and watching the rain falling down with the low clouds moving across the little valley.

What a pleasure it was to meet this adorable little girl, Kiah. She was very lucky to be adopted into this home, her new Mum and Dad love her to bits and it is easy to see why as she is such a cutie! We look forward to caring for Kiah some time at a future housesit.
