Still Cruising

We are half way through our cruise now. Unfortunately, I am unable to post any of my photos, that will have to wait until I am home. The first three days of our cruise were sea days which gave us time to relax and take it easy.
Our first port of call was Auckland and it was so nice to be able to go for a long walk around the city, visiting the lovely Albert Park and walking along the waterfront. The next day was Tauranga, a town we had not been to before. We took a bus into the township in the morning and after lunch we hiked up Mt Maunganui and visited the blowhole. Mt Maunganui was a challenge and when we got to the summit we were in the clouds, so no view! But we had spectacular views on the way up and down and also we also watched a young man parasailing up at the top.
Our third port of call was Napier, a lovely town which was destroyed by an earthquake in 1931 and they rebuilt it in the art deco fashion of the time.
Today we are in Wellington for the day and are meeting up with the owners from our last housesit in Upper Hutt. It will be so nice to catch up with them and hear the latest news, we have already heard that one calf has been born!
We will be back home in Brisbane next Monday, will post some more with some photos then.
